The Highlands at Ladd Park is designed by Trillium Ventures, named an “Outstanding Friend of the Harpeth” by the Harpeth Water River Association for “commitment to incorporating the latest in development design…and going well beyond current local and state requirements in order to protect stream health and water quality of the Harpeth River” (Voices for the Harpeth, Issue 5, Fall 2005).

The Highlands has over two miles of Harpeth River frontage, 240 acres of open space connected by over 10 miles of trails. A 150-acre park along the river will protect the unique environment of the Harpeth River with an arboretum, a nature plant reserve, a canoe launch, and an observation site.
